Abstract

The integrated energy systems (IES) have a bright prospect in future energy systems owing to their excellent economic and environmental performance. Many uncertainties of renewable energy sources in IES threaten the economic and environmental benefits of IES. This paper proposes a strategy to optimize the operation of community IES that can improve wind and solar power consumption ability of IES significantly. The model of community IES is established to obtain the day-ahead optimal operation plan based on the forecast data of wind and solar. Then, to overcome the uncertainties of wind and solar, a strategy is proposed to adjust the operation plan in real time depend on power to gas (P2G) units. A case with two different subcases is studied to verify the effectiveness and advantages of the strategy we proposed.
