Abstract

Operation efficiency evaluation of distribution network could help to comprehend the power grid’s real state, then improve decision-making level, and guide the investment orientation in the end. In the context of existing problems in operation efficiency evaluation of distribution network, this paper puts forward a equipment efficiency evaluation model based on the annual load duration curve, considering the security and economic requirements of the equipment. Based on the equipment efficiency model, the paper proposes an integral operation efficiency evaluation frame for the distribution network, including equipment operation efficiency, hierarchy operation efficiency, system operation efficiency, hierarchy balance degree, and system coordination degree. Due to the lack of specific criteria for efficiency evaluation, the paper establishes a criterion setting method for the proposed evaluation frame. The feasibility and validity of the model has been verified by the sample analysis in several regional distribution networks. The operation efficiency evaluation frame and corresponding models also have been embeded in a real system of SGCC, and played a role of monitoring and auxiliary decision making for distribution network.
