Abstract

Abstract : The portable seismic pavement analyzer (PSPA) is a non-destructive testing device that measures the seismic modulus of concrete pavements. This report provides guidance on how to operate the PSPA including (a) general use and recommendations of the PSPA, (b) processing data measured from the PSPA, (c) step-by-step instructions for replacing the batteries in the PS PA, (d) step-by-step instructions for removing and replacing the rubber pads on the bottom of the receivers and the source of the PSPA, and (e) troubleshooting.
