Open Vascular Surgery Training in the Endovascular Era: 5 Years’ Experience of a Cadaver Laboratory

Abstract

As operative experience in open vascular surgery decreases in favor of endovascular techniques, there is less exposure of surgical residents to routine and advanced vascular exposures. The aim of this paper was to demonstrate a benefit of cadaver laboratory (CAD LAB) courses on surgical exposures and vascular operation simulations.
