Open Issues and Research Problems in Multilayered Cloud

Abstract

Use of cloud computing provides a challenging environment for a number of technological advancements which had taken over a period of time. Cloud computing has provided a significant shift from the traditional computation to cloud-based computations. At one end, where these changes are considered to be revolutionized for the traditional framework and computation, on the other hand, these changes have introduced and explored the possibility for various threats, attacks, and many security- and privacy-related issues for the system. In this chapter, we have explored the various open issues and research problems that exist because of this significant change in a multilayered cloud environment, fog computing environment, and Internet-of-Things environment.
