Abstract

Background: The incorporation of the robotic approach in HPB surgery has been assisted by a proficiency-based curriculum to assist junior surgeons with training and implementing procedures safely. The aim of this study is to evaluate residents’ performance and impressions of operative technique after completion of a robotic training curriculum. The curriculum includes performing robotic and open interrupted hepaticojejunostomy (IHJ) and pancreaticojejunostomy (PJ).
