Abstract

outcome at 28 days of age, including death and NA [OR 8.2, 95% CI 2.6–26.0, P < 0.001]. SIUGR [OR 10.5, 95% CI 2.1–51.6, P = 0.004] and UA [OR 6.5, 95% CI 1.1–38.5, P = 0.040] were associated with DB. Isolated oligohydramnios [OR 4.5, 95% CI 1.6–12.6, P = 0.005] as well as SIUGR [OR 6.9, 95% CI 2.5–18.9, P < 0.001] were regarded as risk factors for adverse events. Conclusions: Isolated oligohydramnios, abnormal Doppler in the umbilical artery and SIUGR at early second trimester should be recognized as an important indicator for poor outcome of MD twins.
