Abstract
Conclusions: This study shows an association between maternal anxiety in pregnancy and increased uterine artery resistance index, that may explain associations between uterine artery blood flow disorders in pregnant women exposed to stress and fetal intrauterine growth retardation, tissue and organ differentiational disorders et al. Summarizing we can state that chronic stress damages placental barrier in mother-fetus system.
