Abstract

To explore the diagnostic value of parametric imaging from contrast-enhanced ultrasound in breast tumors using SonoLiver software. 168 breast lesions 92 malignant, 76 benign underwent CEUS. SonoLiver software was used to analyze the CEUS images. Three quantitative parameters (rise time, time to peak and mean transit time) and parametric imaging were analyzed. The parametric images were obvious different between benign lesions and malignant lesions. 88.0% malignant lesions enjoyed colorful and distribute disorderly, while 81.6% benign tumors had a clear and relatively single distribution. The rise time, time to peak of benign lesions are longer than those of malignant tumors P < 0.05; The mean transit time of benign lesions are shorter than those of malignant tumors P < 0.05. Sensibility, specificity and the degree of accuracy respectively was 85.9%, 85.5%, 85.7% by the new diagnosis method. CEUS parametric images combined with quantitative analysis are helpful in differential diagnosis of breast lesions.
