Abstract

Introduction: High sensitive troponin T measurements are widely used in the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Although the upper reference value used for setting AMI diagnosis was 0.014 ng / ml for all age groups, it seems that this value is not definite and age dependent. In this study, it was aimed to determine upper reference limit for high-sensitive troponin T in the diagnosis of AMI in male patients followed by the preliminary diagnosis of acute coronary syndrome in our community and whether there is a difference in age.
