Abstract

Objective: Myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) has also been useful for the risk stratification of patients with previous coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Whether myocardial tissue damage evaluated by myocardial perfusion SPECT (MPS) has an association with clinical decision making for coronary stenting in CABG patients is unclear. The purpose of this study was to elucidate the clinical significance of severity of myocardial tissue damage (SMTD) for the prediction of coronary stenting in patients with CABG.
