Abstract

Objective: Although it is well known that major cardiovascular adverse events rates increased in patients with acute pulmonary thromboembolism (PTE), it is not clear whether the risk of ventricular arrhythmias are increased or not. The aim of this study was to investigate these risks. For this purpose, Tp-e interval, Tp-e/QT ratio and Tp-e/corrected QT ratio, which are predictors of ventricular arrhythmias, were evaluated in patients with acute PTE.
