Abstract

The article presents the results of linguistic analysis of the verbal visual components of A. Lukic’s film “My thoughts are silent” that combine language and situational aspects of comedy, and it illustrates the primacy of verbal means to achieve a comic effect. The purpose of the article is to study the meaning interpenetration of the components of the onym space of lyrical comedy, to establish links between the segments of its structure that determine the achievement of conic effect, and to identify the features of enriching the semantics of humorous contexts. The study of modern audiovisual works is relevant and important. These works simultaneously raises important universal and painful national issues and has the characteristics of a comedy genre. Humorous works due to their form and content often become a kind of platform for deliberate violation of norms and standards established and presentation of new processes both in society as a whole and in speech as its reflection. The study of the correlation of semes which form the semantic aura of the comic in the semantic structure of proper names with the semantics of contexts and the artistic whole allowed us to identify and systematize multidimensional linguistic and extralinguistic information, to approach the interpretation of the comic effect of an audio-visual work and the author’s style in general. The main characters anthropoetonyms are in the center of the film onym space. The onym space is built based on the characteristics and features of a genre of a lyrical road trip comedy, thus the current topopoetonyms, ergopoetonyms and words that represent other categories of proper names are grouped around these semantic centres. The semantics of comic contexts is enriched by the interaction of their components and due to the effect of a collision of the opposite or deceived expectation from the immersion of poetonyms in the environment generated by the author’s consciousness. The analysis of scenes that are not included in official version of the film and the study of intertextuality comedy, intertextual and interform ratios audiovisual works-“referenсes” that influenced the author's “comic world” are among the prospects for further development of the functioning onyms funds comedy “My thoughts are silent”.
