Abstract
To achieve information sharing among network management systems and solve the problem of semantic heterogeneity between information models,an ontology-based approach of automated mapping between information models was proposed based on the analysis of current situation of network management information models and advantages of ontology mapping technologies. After translating from information model to ontology, mapping results were generated by the dynamic adaptive multi-strategy ontology matching. The prototype system named OntoNM was developed, which was implemented via Protege and development kits of the information model. The recommended strategy was attained by experimental evaluation. The experimental results show that the approach improves the efficiency of information model mapping.
