Abstract

In order to improve the legal framework and to maintain the balance between the needs of society and the rules of law, the legislator seeks appropriate solutions, including by changing the procedural rules.In this respect, the recent summary procedures have undergone changes, even a reform in this regard. The objectives of this study were to analyze the new summary procedures introduced in the criminal procedural law and the amendments made to the existing ones. The premises of the legislative changes were analyzed, but also, directly, the summary procedures: the agreement for recognition of guilt, the procedure for judging the case based on the evidence administered at the criminal investigation phase, the public interest judicial agreement and the cooperation agreement
