Abstract

In the production of hot rolling, the deviation of the strip in the finishing process has always been a technical problem that plagues enterprises. However, there is currently no effective measurement method for the deviation of the strip in the finishing process. To this end, this paper proposed a non-contact strip deviation online measurement scheme based on machine vision technology and image detection. On the one hand, the principle of deviation measurement of binocular line scan camera and the error compensation model was established. On the other hand, a new calibration principle of binocular line scan camera was established, corresponding to the measurement principle. Finally, the real-time deviation of the strip was calculated. The field experiment showed that the strip deviation measurement system in this paper has high measurement precision and could be well adapted to the changing of the strip height.
