On-Line Detection and Diagnosis of Sensor and Process Faults in Nuclear Power Plants

Abstract

Computer-based, on-line fault detection in power plants can be based upon monitoring the time behaviour of measurement signals. The monitoring method selected depends on the measurement signals available and the location of the sensors. Each method is only appropriate for the identification of a certain type of fault.
