Abstract

Internet-savvy customers are demanding more personalized access and expect most, if not all services to be available online. This means that an online organization needs to establish, maintain and secure unique online identities with each of its customers. At the same time, identity fraud, account hijacking and other online identity crimes are creating fear and a loss of consumer confidence in online services - resulting in some cases in a decline in online activity.
