Abstract

The occurrence of driveline oscillations in vehicles is a common but undesired phenomenon. With the growing number of electronic powertrain applications the meaning of software based counter-measures is increasing. The potential of control functions has been investigated during a research cooperation of FKFS and Daimler Trucks. An adaptive method was developed to reduce the effort of parameterizing. This is especially important in the field of commercial vehicles due to the high number of different vehicle configurations.
