Abstract

Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) configured in a manner to allow for stimulation of multiple simultaneous targets via the dual use of sub- and supra-perception-based SCS modalities (i.e. combination therapy) may be able to enhance pain relief outcomes. Here, we report long-term clinical outcomes derived from a prospective, randomized controlled trial (RCT) that evaluates the effectiveness of SCS using sub- and supra-perception modalities as a combination therapy for chronic pain.
