Abstract
Front Cover: Polymers Containing P-C Bonds in the main chain, wherein phosphorus(V), aromatic rings, and hydroxymethylene moieties are linked by bis(α-hydroxymethylene)phosphinic acid units, is synthesized via Abramov phosphonylation reaction as presented in article 2200921 by Siby Mathew, Yumiko Nakajima and co-workers. The resulting polymers are water soluble (pH > 10), display resilience against acid and base catalyzed hydrolysis, and exhibit superior thermal stability under air.
