Abstract

Objective To probe into the influence of systemic rehabilitation training (social function training) on social function recovery in chronic schizophrenia patients in halfway houses at convalescent stage. Methods 70 newly-discharged patients with schizophrenia at convalescent stage were randomly divided into study group and control group, each with 35 cases. The study group patients checked in halfway houses for systemic rehabilitation training, and the control group returned to the society naturally, conducting 1 year comparative study with the positive and negative symptoms scale (PANSS), social function defect screening scale (SDSS) to evaluate and compare the rehabilitative effects of two groups. Results After a one-year halfway houses systemic rehabilitation training, the study group' s PANSS scale score, and SDSS scale score were better than those of the control group (P〈0.05). Conclusion Chronic schizophrenia patients in halfway houses for system recovery training shows the obvious significant promoting effect on social function recovery.
