One step preparation of ‘ready to use’ Au@Pd nanoparticle modified surface using deep eutectic solvents and a study of its electrocatalytic properties in methanol oxidation reaction

Abstract

A facile one pot synthesis andin situelectrodeposition of Au–Pd core–shell nanoparticles (Au@Pd NPs) could be achieved in a deep eutectic solvent. The fabricated Au@Pd NPs modified graphite showed superior electrocatalytic properties for methanol oxidation at low activation energies.
