Abstract
A simple one-step method of preparing freestanding polypyrrole (PPy) and p-toluenesulfonic acid doped PPy (PTSA-PPy) films has been developed. This novel method provides a simple and general route for preparing rough surfaced hydrophobic PPy films having many potential applications. We have shown the effective removal of pollutant by these films from aqueous medium.
