One-Step Anterior and Posterior Ankle Arthroscopy: The Postero-Medial Approach Revisited (SS-75)

Abstract

Keeping patient in supine position, it is possible to reach by anterior approaches any intrarticular structure and to treat spotted pathology. By same portals, it is impossible to explore posterior compartment and to check any posterior hindfoot problem. Patients who present both anterior and posterior ankle disorders, must presently postpone further treatment to prone position second surgery or must be submitted to second step, changing assessment on surgical bed.
