Abstract

Seven years after the LEAP study, primary care providers (PCPs) have low adherence to the 2017 addendum guidelines to prevent peanut allergy in infants. The aims of this quality improvement (QI) project were to increase documentation of appropriate early peanut introduction (EPI) guidance by PCPs during routine 4, 6, and 9-month well-child check (WCC) encounters without negatively impacting balancing measures.
