Abstract

The one-photon two-electron dielectronic satellite transitions Al XII 1s2p 1P1-2s2 1S0 and Al XI 1s22p 2P1/2,3/2-1s2s2 2S1/2 have been observed in the X-ray spectrum from a laser-produced aluminium plasma. The wavelengths of these satellites and their intensities relative to the other one-electron dielectronic satellite transitions are compared with theoretical calculations.
