Abstract

In the article on Vasoconstrictor Solutions for Nasal Obstruction (Drug and Ther. Bull. Jan. 22, 1965, p. 5) we drew attention to the dangers of naphazoline. The manufacturers of Nez nasal drops (Rybar) have asked us to point out that whereas the drops contain naphazoline, Nez nasal spray does not. This is also true of Fenox nasal drops and spray (Boots), as we noted on February 19 (p. 16). Such unusual economy in the use of brand names seems to cause avoidable confusion.
