Abstract
I recently had a scan at a trust hospital - the first time I had been there since it had taken trust status. First impressions were good. The waiting area was in a pleasantly decorated corridor with peaceful blue walls, pictures of the sea and a deep pile carpet - reminiscent of a hotel foyer.
