Abstract

A model of noninteracting fermions in a one-dimensional random potential is considered on a square lattice. It is soluble if the potential is modulated in the direction perpendicular to the direction of the randomness. We find a suppression as well as an enhancement of the nonrandom singularity due to the one-dimensional randomness.
