Abstract

Some protons lying on the hydrogen bonds of the one-dimensional analog of the Slater KDP model are substituted by deuterium ions. The thermodynamic behaviour of this system is considered in the cases of fixed and mobile impurities. The phase transition remains of first order, but exhibits some new features.
