Abstract
The effect of variable-valence oxides on the adhesion strength and elasticity of one-coat fluorine-free coatings is studied. The possibility of lowering the cobalt oxide content in the enamel composition, at the expense of introducing variable-valence oxides (NiO, CuO, and MnO2) in the optimum ratio, without deteriorating the technological and service properties of glass enamel coatings, is established.
