  • Lung cancer is the most common cancer pathology. Despite this, it is in most cases diagnosed late, when surgical treatment is impossible or ineffective

  • This is due to the lack of clinical manifestations of the disease in the early stages

  • Some localization of lung cancer, in particular, cancer of the apical segment of the lung occurs with neurological symptoms (Pancoast syndrome, Horner syndrome), excruciating pain in the upper limb on the side of the lesion, which makes the diagnosis even more difficult
