Abstract

ABSTRACTThis article addresses the perceived gap between authors and reviewers. The solution offered to close this gap is the concept of dual creatorship between writer and reader. The first part addresses the content development of a paper. Comments made in this part are separated into two sections; notes for writers and notes for reviewers. It is suggested that the quality of a paper is determined by the arguments and logic used, therefore these two aspects are expounded in detail. The concept of “dry loose wall building” is used with other metaphors to make a compelling case for writing “chunky and linky.” The second part focuses on the writing process itself. Considering four main phases, advice is given to aspiring writers from a practitioner’s point of view. The dual creatorship concept is expanded and shown in its practicality during the multiphased writing process. The paper does not finish, but hands over the continual creation to the reader.
