Abstract
Abstract The experimental detonation pressure of explosives has been found to correlate reasonably well with the theoretical specific impulse and density of these compositions. Two data sets were subjected to linear regression analysis, giving a number of possible correlations; however, the equation containing Isp × Density2, a Kamlet-Jacobs like term, was found to show the best relationship for predicting, today's plastic bonded explosives.
