Abstract

Phenomena of thermodynamic and hydrodynamic instabilities in a liquid condensate on mixed aerosol particles, as well as its possible effects on atmospheric visibility at variable relative humidity are analyzed. Hypotheses on a mechanism of sonic enlightenment of aerosol hazes and a reverse effect of generating sonic waves during water-phase transitions are proposed.
