Abstract

This paper is devoted to the computation of shallow-water equations and Euler equations when using some approximate Godunov scheme called VFRoe. This is achieved with help of symmetrizing variables. The whole enables to ensure the discrete preservation of positive variables on interfaces, and meanwhile to compute vacuum occurence or propagation of shock waves over vacuum. A short appendix is dedicated to the non conservative hyperbolic equations arising within the frame of two-equation turbulent compressible models.
