Abstract

The article presents aspects of the use of inflatable decelerators in the design of spacecraft (SC) intended for the study of the atmosphere of Venus. The results of the aerothermodynamics calculations and justification of the thermal protection of SC with decelerators are given. Their advantages over conventional descent modules during aerodynamic deceleration in the planet’s atmosphere are shown.
