Abstract
This paper is concerned with an axi-symmetric expansion, namely the one obtained by injecting a supersonic stream outside a circular porous cone. The equations are solved for given initial conditions by using a numerical method. Certain similarities with the two-dimensional Prandtl-Meyer expansion are presented. Different examples for complete expansion are also discussed.
