Abstract
The topological properties of quasi-Abelian SU(2) fields are discussed and are shown, under some conditions, to be related to the magnetic charge. The connection between quasi-Abelian configurations and a set of configurations studied recently by Christ and Jackiw (1980) is pointed out.
