Abstract
“Non-equilibrium thermodynamics” can serve as a basis for a macroscopic treatment of the irreversible phenomena. It is shown for a system in which heat conduction, diffusion, viscous flow, etc. Can take place, how one can find a complete set of differential equations, describing the irreversible behaviour, from the relevant conservation laws, entropy balance and phenomenological equations.
