Abstract

The expressions for ion and electron thermal forces and electron friction force acting on a spherical dust grain from plasma embedded into a magnetic field are found. The electron and ion distribution functions were considered by using 21 moments Grad approximation. Dust grain with a radius much smaller than ion and electron gyroradii was assumed to be either negatively or relatively weakly positively charged. The forces found in this paper can be important, particularly for dust dynamics in fusion plasmas with stagnated plasma flow.
