Abstract

On the basis of thermodynamic state equations, quasistatic direct and inverse Wiedemann effects and also the Matteucci effect are considered for straightforward rods of arbitrary profile. It is shown that in a linear approach the main output values of effects do not depend on cross-section form of the sample and are defined by its magnetoelastic properties only.
