Abstract
E. Wildhaber have made the very important works in the field of the theory of the gearing. He derived many important results only using the elementary geometry. It is very difficult to understand his theory for the reader. The author proved his theory of the contact of the helical gear on the tooth normal plane, which he used in his patent of circular arc tooth helical gear. And the author would like to introduce his artistic theory.
