Abstract

AbstractThe systematics of the number of heavy prongs in proton‐nucleus interactions in emulsion in the energy range from a few GeV to few hundred GeV have been studied. The results disfavour the secondary processes in the target nucleus in general and intranuclear cascading of hadrons in particular.
