Abstract
Lower hybrid waves used for the generation of the driven current can strongly interact with thermonuclear alpha particles on their cyclotron harmonics. For the chosen banana-trapped alpha particles, we calculate their radial diffusion, appearing in the intrinsic stochasticity regime of this interaction; this diffusion seems to be important.
