Abstract

This paper concerned with the stabilization and observation of a linear system with time-varvino delav in the state. First, a sufficient condition for stabilization by means of linear state feedback without delay is shown. Next, a sufficient condition for the possibility of constructing a state estimator is found. Finally, it is shown that under these conditions and an additional one, a linear time-varying delay system can also be stabilized by applying a linear feedback law where the output of the estimator is used instead of the state.
