Abstract

New results in the stability theory of linear stochastic systems with additive noise are presented. It is shown that in case of a stable but not asymptotically stable system the stability properties are determined by the structure of both the state and the noise matrices. Some properties of the matrix Ljapunov equation with non-asymptotically stable matrices are established as well.
