Abstract
This paper gives the governing equations and natural boundary conditions for the stability of multilayered sandwich-type rectangular flat plates with orthotropic (constructionally orthotropic) hard and transversally isotropic soft layers. It shows the solution of these equations and the problem of initial postbuckling behaviour for the regularly multilayered plates with Navier-type boundary conditions.
