Abstract
The search algorithm for finding a particular characteristics of nuclei is described as well as its implementation into a program which searches for the values of the energy levels out of ENSDF. The results of the search are ready for input as numerical values into programs that process spectroscopic data. The user is not expected to be familiar with the structure of the ENSDF.
